Using the YM2612 sound chip in the Sega Genesis and a Yamaha DX-100 keyboard, Joey Mariano, in TRENCHVENT, takes FM synthesis beneath the atmosphere to a secret place at the end of the ecosystem. Underwater, biology and technology morph into each other while the open air grows stale.
